Women's Gathering - February 2nd
Join the women of Parkside Westside for their first Friday of the month gathering tonight at 6:30pm in the lower level. We will hear a speaker on her heroes, hardships, and highlights. We will have time for conversation and discussion. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! You can enter the building from the office door on Woodward Ave. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share and to Krista.
Parkside at Prayer - February 4th
Join us as we share a meal and pray together on Sunday, February 4th, at 5:00pm in the lower level. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and to Matt.
Trusting God Book Club - February 7th
During a time of adversity, Jerry Bridges began a lengthy Bible study on the topic of God’s sovereignty. What he learned changed his life, and in Trusting God he shares the fruit of that study. As you explore the scope of God’s power over nations, nature, and even the details of your life, you’ll find yourself trusting Him more completely - even when life hurts.
Join us for a book study on Jerry Bridges’ timeless book, Trusting God. We will meet on Wednesday mornings in Room 112 from 7:00am-7:50am beginning on February 7th. Parkside Westside Playgroup - February 7th
Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers on Wednesday, February 7th, at 10:30am in the lower level. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Feel free to pack your lunches and stick around after to eat together. Hope to see you there!
Membership Class - February 25th
If you'd like to take the next step toward membership at Parkside Westside, please join us for a brief class after the first service on Sunday, February 25th. We'll meet in Room 112 at 10:15am. We'll spend some time looking at what it means to shift our focus from "me" to "we." Sign-up here.
Tobogganing at the Chalet - February 25th
Join us for a few hours of fun at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet! The ice toboggans will be ours to use from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday, February 25th. Tobogganing not your thing? There's a lodge with a fireplace where we'll have hot chocolate and snacks if you'd like to just come hangout with us. The details and sign-up can be found here.
Shoreline Women's Seminar - March 16th
Our friends at Shoreline will be hosting a women's seminar with Lydia Brownback as the speaker on Saturday, March 16th, from 9:00am-1:30pm. Ladies will encounter God in the Psalms with 3 sessions including Psalms 51, 73, and 139. Lunch will be provided and there will be time for questions and answers at the end of the seminar. Action Day Camp - Save the Date!
Save the date! Action Day Camp will take place this summer from June 10th-14th. ADC is for all students who have just finished Kindergarten through 5th grade. The day starts with mornings at Vacation Bible Camp at Parkside Church in Bainbridge, and continues through the afternoon with field trips to fun places in the greater Cleveland area.
