Westside Youth Neighborhood
Westside Youth Neighborhood (grades 6-12) will be meeting this week at the church offices (15529 Madison Avenue, Unit 1, Lakewood, 44107) from 6-7:30pm.

Name Amnesty Sunday: This Sunday, July 23
Name Amnesty Sunday* is a day where you are free to ask anyone their name without shame or embarrassment. It is also a day where you grant amnesty to those who have forgotten your name.  Help us by filling in a nametag when you come to church, and, if you see a visitor, explain to them what the nametags are about. It may seem a little awkward at first, but we think it will be a fun and helpful way to continue to make connections.  (*Thanks to our friend, Tim Challies, at www.challies.com, from whom we've shamelessly borrowed this great idea!)

Picnic in the Park: This Sunday, July 23
Let's hang out! Pack a lunch and join us at Lakewood Park Pavilion (14532 Lake Ave., Lakewood, 44107) this Sunday, July 23, after service. Nothing fancy, just a time to hang out and to get to know your fellow Westsiders better. See you then!

Baptism Preparation Workshop: August 6 & 13
On August 20, we will celebrate baptisms. To help you prepare, we will have a two-part preparation workshop on August 6 and 13. If you are interested in being baptized, please register by August 1 and plan to attend both classes. We'll provide lunch and help you work through the Biblical material related to baptism.

Parkside at Prayer: August 6
Everyone is welcome to join us for this hour of prayer on Aug. 6 at 5pm at the McAlvey's home (1296 Hall Ave., Lakewood, 44107). We will pray together and then have dinner for anyone who'd like to stick around for another hour. Please send Matt a quick if you are planning to attend.

EOS Youth Retreat: August 26-27
The EOS Retreat is an overnight trip for all students entering grades 6-12. We’ll spend time playing games and soaking up the sun and water at Chautauqua Lake, while building friendships and diving into the Bible together. For more information, or to register, visit parksidechurchwestside.com/EOS.
