Picnic in the Park – June 24
Our first summertime picnic in the park is this Sunday, June 24! Be sure to invite a friend, bring your lunch, and meet us at the Cottonwood Picnic Shelter (Cottonwood Picnic Area Dr., Fairview Park, 44126) in the Rocky River Reservation after service. Parking is available, but limited. We suggest carpooling, if possible, and additional parking is available at the nearby South Mastick picnic area.
Westside Youth Neighborhood
Westside Youth Neighborhood (grades 6-12) will be meeting this Sunday, June 24, at 6:00pm at the church offices on Madison (15529 Madison Ave., Unit 1, Lakewood, 44107). Invite a friend and we'll see you there!
July 1 Holiday Schedule for Upper Elementary Students
On July 1, upper elementary children's ministry students should plan to attend service with their families. We will be taking a break that Sunday in observance of the Independence holiday weekend.
Parkside at Prayer "On-the-Road" – July 1
This month we will meet at the Putnam's home as they pray for the ministry of International Friendships and the opportunity for hosting students in the home they just purchased in Lakewood. We'll be part of their prayer plan from 5pm-6pm and then whoever is around from Parkside Westside will gather at 6pm in their backyard and pray together for another 15 minutes. See you there!
Women's Prayer Time – July 11
All Parkside Westside women are invited to join us at Mandy Hockenberger's home (8625 Hollis Lane, Brecksville, 44141) on the second Wednesday evening of each month at 7pm as we meet together to pray for God's continued guidance as we help people become committed followers of Jesus Christ. Baptism Preparation Workshop & Service
On August 12, we will celebrate the baptisms of those who have come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. If you would like to be baptized, or simply want to learn more about the meaning of baptism, please join us for our next Baptism Preparation Workshop on July 29 and August 5.
