Pajama Collection - November 27th

We will be collecting new children's pajamas to give to families attending The Christmas Store. Pj’s for kids ages 3-10 are most popular, but toddler and teen sizes are also welcome. As an additional blessing, feel free to include a children’s book as well (may be gently used). Please place your items in the collection bins that will be located in the lower level on Sunday, November 27th. Questions? Contact Ruth Yarnevic.

Children and Youth - November 27th

Just a friendly reminder that Children's Ministry will only be provided for Nursery and Toddlers during holiday weekends. This includes Sunday, November 27th, for Thanksgiving. Youth Neighborhood will also be on break.

Missions Update with Nathanael Wiles - November 27th

We are happy to have Nathanael Wiles home from Africa for a visit! Join us Sunday, November 27th, as Nathanael provides an update on his work at Tenwek Hospital. A light lunch will be provided at 11:45am in Room 210. RSVP here.

Volunteer for the Christmas Store

This December, the lower level at Parkside Westside will be transformed into The Christmas Store 2022, in order to provide some Christmas joy to children from over 100 families in Lakewood. Each child will receive a Christmas stocking filled with gifts and goodies. In addition, Parkside Westside, along with friends in the community, will provide families with socks, pajamas, children’s books, and gift cards to purchase gifts for their children and groceries for the holidays. For store hours, or to sign up for any of the activities, click here. Questions? Contact Jeff Port.

Women's Gathering - December 2nd

Join the women of Parkside Westside for their first Friday of the month gathering on December 2nd at 6:30pm in the lower level. This month we will have some games and an easy craft. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. You can to Krista.

Caroling and Cookies - December 18th

Join us on Sunday, December 18th as we spread some holiday cheer at Haven at Lakewood senior living residence. Our plan is to provide lunch in the lower level after the 10:30am service. Then we’ll practice a few Christmas carols together and head over to Haven just before 2:00pm. We’ll sing our carols for the residents, have a short Christmas talk, and enjoy some cookies with them. Sign-up here if you plan to join us!
