Fall Book Club

Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to grow in your understanding of how to think and live as a Christian? Are you looking for a way to make regular Christian friendshipping part of your week? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then this book club is for you. The group will meet on Wednesday mornings from 7-8am beginning September 15th in the lower level of the church building where Matt McAlvey will lead a discussion of the book Gentle and Lowly. If interested, please sign-up here.

Course of Your Life

Join us this fall for The Course of Your Life: a nine-week intensive course aimed at equipping God's people to be disciple-makers by growing in God’s Word and sharing it with others. The heart of the course involves meeting one-to-one with an assigned partner during the week, and also meeting as a group for 90 minutes on Monday evenings beginning on September 13th. Contact Nate Vogel for more info; sign-up here.

Women's Gathering

The women of Parkside Westside will kick-off their 'first Friday of the month' gatherings on October 1st at 6:30pm. Come be encouraged in your walk with Christ. Feel free to bring a dessert or just come as you are. Each gathering we will hear someone share about their heroes, hardships, and life's highlights.

Classifieds, Messages & Needs

Need a way to get in touch with other Westsiders? Check out our "Classifieds, Messages & Needs" Group on CCB. Anyone (18 and older) who is a part of Parkside Westside can use this group's message board to post job opportunities, inquire about housing, sell or give away items, ask for help around the house, get the word out about events, and more. Login to Church Community Builder to access the group.

Parkside at Prayer

All are welcome to join us for this time of dinner and prayer on September 26th at 5:00pm. We'll be doing things "pitch-in style," so please bring a side or accompaniment for pulled pork! RSVP to Matt if you plan to attend at

Community Groups

Community Groups are almost underway and we're looking forward to getting back in the Word together! This fall we’ll combine the study of key passages from the Bible with brief articles from the March 2021 issue of the 9 Marks Journal, “How to Build Up Your Church: a Guidebook for Members.” As the title suggests, the focus for the journal and our study is on the privilege and responsibility that each church member has for the building up of the body. Please contact the leaders of the group you plan to attend so that they may plan accordingly. Please click here for more information, including leader contact info and meeting schedule.

Children's Ministry

More volunteers are needed to serve in children's ministry at this time. If you are willing and able to help, please fill out the Volunteer Sign-up Form. If you have any questions about Children's Ministry, please contact Lisa Ours at   .
