Service Time Changes
Beginning on September 8th, we will be bumping our Sunday morning service times back by 30 minutes. The new service times will be 9:30 and 11:00am. This change comes as an effort to better distribute Sunday attendance between our two morning services.
Name Amnesty Sunday
Today is Name Amnesty Sunday! We do these periodically as a way to help us all continue to put names to faces and refresh our memory of names we have forgotten. Please grab a nametag in the back of the auditorium and join us downstairs after either service for donuts!
Also get your Online Church Community photo taken or updated with Nic in the back of the church outside by the red doors after both services.
New Member Welcome
Today we welcome Parkside Westside's newest members; Faith Tremmel, Alyssa Melendez, Lou Ann Brown, Jonathan Schroeder, and Ryan and Annabelle McGilvray.
God's Purpose for Your Life Class
Join us this fall as we look at some of Jesus’ commands for his followers in order to align our lives with his purposes for us. We’ll carefully consider and discuss Jesus’ words in the Bible and seek the help of the Holy Spirit as we help one another to become more committed followers of Jesus Christ.
Beginning on Sunday, September 8th, and running through early December, the class will meet in room 210 from 10:45am-12:00pm. For more information, contact Jim Erickson. We hope to see you there!
Parkside at Prayer - September 15th
Join us as we share a meal and pray together on Sunday, September 15th, at 5:00pm in the lower level. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and to Matt if you plan to attend.
Parkside Westside Playgroup - September 18th
Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning on September 18th at 10:30am. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Men's Fella-ship - September 18th
Join the men of Westside for a time of fellowship up at the Lakewood Truck Park on Wednesday, September 18th, at 6:00pm. Whether you are new or have been attending for years, all are welcome. Contact Mike or with questions.
Women's International Lunch - September 20th
Ladies, join us for lunch as we seek to have friendly conversations with women wanting to learn or improve their English.We'll meet on Friday, September 20th, at 12:00pm in the lower level. Contact Ruth if you plan to attend or if you would like to bring a dish to share.
Men's Gathering - September 21st
Join us for the next Men's Gathering in the lower level of the church building on Saturday, September 21st, at 8:30am. We will have breakfast together and consider God's Word as we hear from one of our elders-in-training.
First Steps Bruncheon - September 22nd
New to Parkside Westside? We'd love to meet you on September 22nd at 10:15am in Room 210. We'll spend some time together after the first service hanging out, answering your questions, and introducing you to some on our leadership team. Sign-up here.
Young Adult Bonfire- September 28th
All young adults ages 18-30+ are invited to a bonfire at the Rosenlieb's home (12811 Indian Mound Drive, Valley View 44125) on Saturday, September 28th, at 7:00pm. Please bring a chair and a snack to share. Contact with questions.
Women's Gathering - October 4th
Join the women of Westside for their first Friday of the month gathering on October 4th, at 6:30pm in the lower level. We will have a speaker, and then time for conversation and small group discussion. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! Hope and Healing Group: Support for Those Who Grieve - October 6th
Have you experienced loss? Recently? Some time ago? Have you found a place to share your loss with others and to experience the comfort of Jesus when the body of Christ shares their loss together? Would you be interested in joining others here at Parkside Westside to explore loss together? Please join Hope and Healing: Support for those who grieve.
