Joining a Community Group is one of the best ways to be a part of Parkside Church Westside. You don’t have to be a member of the church to take part--all are welcome, no matter what stage of life you are in. In many ways, our groups represent the church on a personal level. Our groups will kick off a study of Malachi beginning in September. A list of community groups can be found here.

Holiday Children's Ministry - Labor Day

Just a friendly reminder that children's ministry is only offered for nursery, toddlers, and children with special needs on holiday weekends. This will include Labor Day weekend. Our Youth Neighborhood will also be on break for holiday weekends.

Parkside Westside Playgroup - September 9th

Playgroup will resume on Wednesday, September 9th from 10:30am-12:00pm. Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Baptism is a symbol of a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus. Please join us for this two-part class to learn more about what this means as a public display of your faith in Jesus. We will meet at 11:00am in Room 210 on September 13th and September 20th. Sign-up here.

Women's Bible Study - September 16th/17th

Join us for our next Women's Bible Study beginning in September. We will be using Lydia Brownback's book, 1-2 Peter: Living Hope in a Hard World, to dig deeper into the books of 1–2 Peter and learn that God does not abandon us in our suffering. Through the themes of suffering, the transformative power of God, spiritual authority, false teachers, and the last days, Peter directs us to the God who is faithful in our trials, working them for his glory and for our good. 

The study will begin on Wednesday, September 16th, with an evening group meeting in the church at 6:30pm. There will also be two Thursday morning groups meeting at 10:00am beginning on September 17th. The Thursday morning groups will meet at the MacDonald home and the Yurkovich home. Man Walks - September 26th

All Sunday morning children’s ministry volunteers are asked to attend our annual meeting on Sunday, September 27th, from 9:45am-10:45am in Room 210. We'll go over our mission and goals, review safety procedures and have time for questions. Email Lisa with questions.

Join us at Parkside Bainbridge for Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word on November 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God through the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’re looking forward to having Nancy help us see how we behold the beauty of Christ now "as through a mirror dimly" (1 Cor. 13:12), while anticipating the glorious day when we will see him face-to-face. Isaac grew up in New Delhi, India. After receiving his Masters of Divinity from Cedarville University, he came to Parkside as a pastoral resident in 2023 and joined their team as the Middle School Pastor in 2025. We are glad to have Isaac here to preach today.
