A missions trip for high school students
This summer from July 16 to 28, students from Parkside Church Westside's high school ministry will travel to Serbia. We will partner with a missions organization called Josiah Venture, as well as the students of a local evangelical Serbian church, to host a week-long, English-language camp for unbelieving young people in the community. Most importantly, we will share the Gospel with camp participants, in a country where it is estimated that less than 1% of young people know the Lord Jesus.
You can support the Parkside Westside team by praying and making a financial contribution. The total trip cost for the team of 10 leaders and students is $27,000. Gifts for this trip are tax-deductible, and all gifts will go toward the full team cost, rather than a particular participant. A few ways you can pray:
- Pray that God will work in saving mercy in the lives of Serbian students who participate in the English camp our team will be running.
- Pray that God will encourage and strengthen the local church in Serbia with whom we will be partnering.
- Pray that God will unite our team, strengthen our faith, embolden our witness, and use our efforts as we seek to serve and make Christ and his gospel known.
- Pray that God will provide the necessary funds and protect us as we go.
