Children's Ministry

We are in need of a teacher and a helper to join the Kindergarten-1st grade classroom. Please email if you can serve in this way.

Young Adult Meet-up - August 16th

All young adults ages 18-30ish are welcome to join us after the second service. We'll hangout at Lakewood Park (14532 Lake Ave.) and play some volleyball. Bring your own lunch and contact if you have questions.

Nancy Guthrie Women's Event - Registration Opens August 16th

Join us at Parkside Bainbridge for Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word on November 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God through the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’re looking forward to having Nancy help us see how we behold the beauty of Christ now "as through a mirror dimly" (1 Cor. 13:12), while anticipating the glorious day when we will see him face-to-face. Registration opens on August 16th on the Parkside website.

End of Summer Retreat - August 22nd-23rd 

Save the date for August 22nd-23rd! The EOS ("End Of Summer") Retreat is an overnight trip for all students entering grades 6-12. We’ll spend time playing games and soaking up the sun and water at Camp Patmos on Kelley's Island, while building friendships and diving into the Bible together. Register here.

Man Walks - August 29th 

All men are welcome to join us on Saturday, August 29th, at 7:00am as we gather to pray and walk in the Metroparks, Lakewood, Rocky River, etc. Meet in the church parking lot. 

Join a Community Group!

Joining a Community Group is one of the best ways to be a part of Parkside Church Westside. You don’t have to be a member of the church to take part--all are welcome, no matter what stage of life you are in. In many ways, our groups represent the church on a personal level. Our groups will kick off a study of Malachi beginning in September. A list of community groups can be found here. 

Adoption & Fostering Support Group - September 13th

If you are a parent or guardian who has gone through the adoption/foster care process, join us for this support group on the 2nd Sunday of each month. We'll meet in Room 208 at 11:00am on Sunday, August 9th. Please RSVP to . 

Parkside at Prayer - September 20th 

Join us as we share a meal and pray together. We'll meet in the lower level on Sunday, September 20th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and RSVP to if you plan to attend.

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related field), proficiency in Quickbooks, as well as experience in reporting, reconciling accounts, budgeting, preparing for audits, and year-end processes.
