Join a Community Group!

Joining a Community Group is one of the best ways to be a part of Parkside Church Westside. You don’t have to be a member of the church to take part--all are welcome, no matter what stage of life you are in. In many ways, our groups represent the church on a personal level. Our groups will kick off a study of Malachi beginning in September. A list of community groups can be found here.

Man Walks - August 29th 

All men are welcome to join us on Saturday, August 29th, at 7:00am as we gather to pray and walk in the Metroparks, Lakewood, Rocky River, etc. Meet in the church parking lot. 

Young Adult Fellowship Night - September 11th

All young adults ages 18-30ish are welcome to join us for a game and fellowship night on Friday, September 11th, at 6:30pm in the lower level. We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month. Bring your favorite game. Snacks will be provided. Contact if you have questions.  

Adoption & Fostering Support Group - September 13th 

If you are a parent or guardian who has gone through the adoption/foster care process, join us for this support group on the 2nd Sunday of each month. We'll meet in Room 208 at 11:00am on Sunday, September 13th. Please RSVP to . 

Baptism Workshop - September 13th/20th

Baptism is a symbol of a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus. Please join us for this two-part class to learn more about what this means as a public display of your faith in Jesus. We will meet at 11:00am in Room 210 on September 13th and September 20th. Sign-up here.

Women's Bible Study - September 16th/17th

Join us for our next Women's Bible Study beginning in September. We will be using Lydia Brownback's book, 1-2 Peter: Living Hope in a Hard World, to dig deeper into the books of 1–2 Peter and learn that God does not abandon us in our suffering. Through the themes of suffering, the transformative power of God, spiritual authority, false teachers, and the last days, Peter directs us to the God who is faithful in our trials, working them for his glory and for our good. 

The study will begin on Wednesday, September 16th, with an evening group meeting in the church at 6:30pm. There will also be two Thursday morning groups meeting at 10:00am beginning on September 17th. The Thursday morning groups will meet at the MacDonald home and the Yurkovich home. Parkside at Prayer - September 20th 

Join us as we share a meal and pray together. We'll meet in the lower level on Sunday, September 20th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and RSVP to if you plan to attend.

Nancy Guthrie Women's Event - November 5th

Join us at Parkside Bainbridge for Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word on November 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God through the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’re looking forward to having Nancy help us see how we behold the beauty of Christ now "as through a mirror dimly" (1 Cor. 13:12), while anticipating the glorious day when we will see him face-to-face.
