Welcome Joe Abraham
Joe first came to Cleveland in 1974 as a sports writer before he felt called to enter into ministry. After serving through Youth for Christ for 11 1/2 years, he came to Scranton Road Bible Church in 1988 and began serving as Senior Pastor in 1992. Joe took on the role of Associate Pastor in September 2019. He and his wife Debbie have two adult sons, Jeremy and Chad, one grandson, and a granddaughter on the way. We are glad to have Joe with us to preach today.
July Children's Ministry
Just a friendly reminder that children's ministry is only offered for nursery, toddlers, and special needs children during the month of July. All classes will resume on August 3rd when students will move-up to their fall grades.
Cornhole and Cookout - July 11th
Join us for Cornhole & Cookout on Friday, July 11th, from 6:00pm-8:30pm! We'll spend the evening hanging out and playing yard games. There will also be a cornhole tournament for anyone who would like to participate! We'll provide drinks, burgers, and hotdogs and would just ask that you bring a dish to share.
Parkside at Prayer - July 20th
Join us as we share a meal and pray together. We'll meet in the lower level on Sunday, July 20th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and RSVP to Wes if you plan to attend.
Membership Class - August 10th
If you'd like to take the next step toward membership at Parkside Westside, please join us for a brief class on August 10th at 9:30am in Room 210. We'll spend some time looking at what it means to shift our focus from "me" to "we." Sign-up here.
EOS Summer Retreat - August 23rd-24th
The EOS ("End Of Summer") Retreat is an overnight trip for all students entering grades 6-12. We’ll spend time playing games and soaking up the sun and water at Camp Patmos on Kelley's Island, while building friendships and diving into the Bible together. Register here!
Save the Date - September 5th - Women's Gatherings Resume
The Women's first Friday of the month gatherings will resume on September 5th at 6:30pm in the lower level! We will hear a speaker on her heroes, hardships, and highlights. We will have time for conversation and discussion. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.
