This is an opportunity to serve and connect with other men from our church. If you are available and willing to help, please sign up here. We will meet at the church building at 8:30am and disperse from there to various homes. You can plan to bring gloves and a rake, unless specifically directed to bring other tools. Looking forward to it!

Thanksgiving Box Project - November 22nd

Westside Students have an opportunity to partner with Scranton Road Bible Church on Saturday, Nov. 22nd in the distribution of Thanksgiving meals to people in near-west Cleveland. As groups, we’ll be hand-delivering boxes that have been pre-assembled for families and individuals. Send your student to Parkside Westside at 9:15am if they are willing and able to help! Transportation to the serving location will be provided by our adult volunteers. We will stop by McDonald's on our way back to warm up and grab a quick snack, so send your student with some cash. We should be back at the parking lot by 12:30pm! Sign-up here.

Help With The Christmas Store

What is the Christmas Store?
The Christmas Store takes place in the lower level, and provides children from over 100 families in Lakewood with stockings filled with small gifts. In addition, we will provide families with gift cards to purchase gifts for their children and groceries for the holidays.

How Can You Help?
Purchase small gifts to fill the stockings. A list of age appropriate ideas can be found here. The greatest need is boys/girls ages 6-9 and boys/girls ages 10+. Collection containers will be in the lower level from Sunday, November 16th-November 30th.

Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, 10:00am-12:00pm
Help to Stuff the Stockings in the lower level.

Tuesday, Dec. 9th, 10:00-2:00pm, Sat., Dec. 13th 10:00-2:00pm
Help during The Christmas Store hours, when we’ll distribute the stockings and the gift cards to the families.

Caroling and Cookies - December 7th

Join us on Sunday, December 7th as we spread some holiday cheer at Haven at Lakewood senior living residence. Our plan is to provide lunch in the lower level after the 11:00am service. Then we’ll practice a few Christmas carols together and head over to Haven just before 2:00pm. We’ll sing our carols for the residents, have a short Christmas talk, and enjoy some cookies with them. We ask that each family bakes some Christmas cookies to share. Sign-up here if you plan to join us.
