Meal Delivery Drivers Needed
Cove Community Center is currently looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to older adults and other homebound residents in Lakewood. Volunteers pick up meals at Cove and follow a designated route, with a commitment of approximately one hour in the late morning, one day each week. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact Amy Chodzin at or 216-529-5061.
Parkside at Prayer - September 20th
Join us as we share a meal and pray together. We'll meet in the lower level on Sunday, September 20th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and RSVP to if you plan to attend.
Parkside Westside Playgroup - September 23rd
Playgroup will resume on Wednesday, September 9th from 10:30am-12:00pm. Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Embody 101 - September 24th
Join us on Thursday, September 24th from 6-7pm in the lower level of Parkside Westside for Embody 101, an info session about Embody Youth Academy.

Man Walks - September 26th
All men are welcome to join us on Saturday, September 26th, at 7:00am as we gather to pray and walk in the Metroparks, Lakewood, Rocky River, etc. This month we will meet in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Details about location to follow.
Children's Ministry Annual Meeting - September 27th
All Sunday morning children’s ministry volunteers are asked to attend our annual meeting on Sunday, September 27th, from 9:45am-10:45am in Room 210. We'll go over our mission and goals, review safety procedures and have time for questions. Email Lisa with questions.
Women's Gathering - October 2nd
Join the women of Parkside Westside for their first Friday of the month gathering. We will hear a speaker, and we will have time for conversation and discussion. We will meet in the lower level on October 2nd from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! Young Professionals Game & Fellowship Night - October 9th
All young adults ages 18-30ish are welcome to join us for a game and fellowship night on Friday, October 9th, at 6:30pm in the lower level. We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month. Bring your favorite game. Snacks will be provided. Contact if you have questions.
Adoption & Fostering Support Group - October 11th

Nancy Guthrie Women's Event - November 5th
Join us at Parkside Bainbridge for Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word on November 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God through the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’re looking forward to having Nancy help us see how we behold the beauty of Christ now "as through a mirror dimly" (1 Cor. 13:12), while anticipating the glorious day when we will see him face-to-face.
