Children's Ministry Volunteers Needed
Children's Ministry is in need of several volunteers throughout our classrooms. This is a great opportunity to serve our families. We ask that if your child attends a children's ministry class that you volunteer to serve. Complete the Children's Ministry application here. Please contact Lisa with questions.
Annual Children's Ministry Meeting - September 21st
All Sunday morning children’s ministry volunteers are asked to attend our annual meeting on Sunday, September 21st at 10:00am in Room 210. We'll go over our mission and goals, review safety procedures and have time for questions. Email Lisa with questions.
Parkside Westside Playgroup - September 24th
Playgroup resumes on September 24th! Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 10:30am. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Feel free to pack your lunches and stick around after to eat together. Hope to see you there!
We're turning 10! - September 28th
This month marks Parkside Westside's 10th Birthday! This is a special one, and we feel it's a worthy thing to celebrate together on Sunday, September 28th. As a way to get everyone involved in the celebration, we're asking you to bake some of your favorite desserts to share. Be that a cake, cupcakes, cookies, or brownies, we want to make this a birthday to remember with everyone's help. You can drop off your baked goods in the lower level before either service on September 28th.
We also want to take some time that day to reflect together on how we've come to call Parkside Westside our home. We invite you to write a brief word of testimony so that we might share them that Sunday. The Lord has been so faithful to us over these last ten years, and we thought this would be a special way to glorify him and to encourage one another.
Share your testimony here (anonymously if you'd like). Please do so by September 21st so we can compile them for the following Sunday.
Women's Gathering - October 3rd
Join for our first Friday of the month Women's Gathering on October 3rd at 6:30pm in the lower level! We will hear a speaker on her heroes, hardships, and highlights. We will have time for conversation and discussion. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Young Adult Bonfire - October 3rd
All young adults, ages 18-30ish are invited to a bonfire at the Dennis home on Friday, October 3rd at 7:00pm. Please RSVP to before September 22nd. The Dennis family lives at 741 Ravenhill Rd., Sagamore Hills, 44067.
Baptism Workshop - October 5th & October 12th
If you would like to be baptized or even just want to learn more about what baptism means as a Christian, join us for the two-part Baptism Preparation Workshop. We will meet in Room 210 at 10:45am. Please sign-up here if you plan to attend.
