Name Amnesty Sunday
Today is Name Amnesty Sunday! We do these periodically as a way to help us all continue to put names to faces and refresh our memory of names we have forgotten. Please grab a name tag in the back of the auditorium and join us after either service for a donut in the lower level.
Children's Ministry Annual Meeting - September 27th
All Sunday morning children’s ministry volunteers are asked to attend our annual meeting this Sunday, September 27th, from 9:45am-10:45am in Room 210. We'll go over our mission and goals, review safety procedures and have time for questions. Email Lisa with questions.
Women's Gathering - October 2nd
Join the women of Parkside Westside for their first Friday of the month gathering. We will hear a speaker, and we will have time for conversation and discussion. We will meet in the lower level on October 2nd from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Whether you are new to Westside or have been attending for years, we hope to see you there! Young Professionals Game & Fellowship Night - October 9th
All young adults ages 18-30ish are welcome to join us for a game and fellowship night on Friday, October 9th, at 6:30pm in the lower level. We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month. Bring your favorite game. Snacks will be provided. Contact if you have questions.
First Steps Bruncheon - October 11th
New to Parkside Westside? We'd love to meet you. We'll spend some time together during the second service hanging out, answering your questions, and introducing you to some on our leadership team. We will meet at 11:00am in Room 210. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP here.
Adoption & Fostering Support Group - October 11th
If you are a parent or guardian who has gone through the adoption/foster care process, join us for this support group on the 2nd Sunday of each month. We'll meet in Room 208 at 11:00am on Sunday, October 11th. Please RSVP to .
Parkside Westside Playgroup - October 14th
Playgroup meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10:30am-12:00pm. Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. Nancy Guthrie Women's Event - November 5th
Join us at Parkside Bainbridge for Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word on November 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God through the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’re looking forward to having Nancy help us see how we behold the beauty of Christ now "as through a mirror dimly" (1 Cor. 13:12), while anticipating the glorious day when we will see him face-to-face. Meal Delivery Drivers Needed
Cove Community Center is currently looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to older adults and other homebound residents in Lakewood. Volunteers pick up meals at Cove and follow a designated route, with a commitment of approximately one hour in the late morning, one day each week.
