An Advent Reading Plan for Families

Dear Parents,
I want to pass along to you some advent material that was originally produced by the Director of Children’s Ministry, John Murchison, at The Austin Stone Community Church. One of his friends, who is my friend, (if you’re tracking with that, well done!) passed this along to me a couple of years ago as a resources for our family to use during Christmas. We’ve used it for the last couple of years and benefitted from it greatly and my hope is that you will too. I’ve done a little editing to the original material so that it isn’t tied to a particular calendar year but outside of that have kept things in its intended form. I wanted to say that on the front end of things to give credit where credit is due and to acknowledge how thankful I am for John’s creativity in pulling this together as a companion resource to go along with The Jesus Storybook Bible...which is one of my favorite books.
