ReStoried: A support group for victims of abuse

Have you experienced a hurtful background, characterized by abuses of power and authority? Maybe your story has been marked by severe emotional or spiritual distress. Perhaps there is renaming confusion, anger or sorrow. When we are mistreated by those who were intended to love and care for us, the ripple effects can be devastating. How do we learn to see God as he truly is, and see ourselves in the light of what he says about us?

Reconnecting with God's love may feel elusive. What do we do with lingering pain and doubts? How can we move from a place of hurt to a place of healing, from feeling stuck in our trauma to growing in resilience and hope? These are just a few of the themes we will explore in our ReStoried Support Group.

For: Women
Dates: 10 consecutive Thursday evenings beginning September 10, 2020
Cost: $199
Format: The ReStoried group will gather remotely using Zoom video conferencing.

About Anxiety & the God Who Cares: A support group for teen girls

In a time when things are changing rapidly, it can be so easy to feel anxious about the circumstances surrounding us. We did not anticipate COVID-19, nor did we plan for our lives to change so drastically because of it. As as result, we may wrestle with a variety of emotions, but anxiety may be a heightened experience at this time.

Fieldstone counselors Sarah Keene and Elizabeth Selle are offering this group to young women ages 13-17. The goal of this group is to teach young women how to identify their anxiety, speak honestly about it, and turn to God in the midst of it. The Bible speaks to our experiences, and Elizabeth and Sarah seek to highlight that Scripture intersects with our daily lives.

For: Young women ages 13-17
Dates: This group starts on October 13, 2020 and will run for 6 weeks.
Cost: $85
Format: A 10 minute video will be provided each week with articles and/or worksheets. The group will meet once a week at a set designated time for a live discussion/consultation with whoever would like to join. Attendance is not mandatory, though highly encouraged.

Scholarships are available upon request. Email   for more information.
