Welcome Ryan Shiel
We welcome Ryan Shiel today. He is preparing for missionary service among the Somali people in Nairobi, Kenya with his wife Samantha and their son Titus. We are glad to have him with us.

We rejoice with Joe and Amy Ciulla upon the birth of their son, Robert Anderson, on December 13th.
Children Singing- December 17th
Children in the Toddler - 5th grade classes will be singing Christmas songs for the congregation on December 17th during the 10:30am service. Invite friends and family!
Caroling and Cookies - December 17th
Join us as we spread some holiday cheer at Haven at Lakewood senior living residence on Sunday, December 17th. Lunch will be provided after the 10:30am service. We’ll practice a few Christmas carols together and head over to Haven just before 2:00pm. We'd ask each family to bake some cookies to share at Haven with the residents. Sign-up here.
Parkside at Prayer - December 17th
Join us as we share a meal and pray together on December 17th at 5:00pm in room 210. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and to Matt if you plan to attend.
Youth Neighborhood Party - December 17th
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for an evening of games, food, and fun together as we celebrate Jesus's birth. Join us on Sunday, December 17th from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the student space in the lower level. Students should bring a wrapped gift for our "white elephant" gift exchange. Maximum gift value is $10. This is a great event for inviting friends! to Nate if you plan to attend.
Christmas Eve at Westside - December 24th
This year, Christmas Eve falls on Sunday, and we will have services at 9:00 and 10:30am. We will not have services in the evening, but we hope you will join us in the morning to sing carols, light candles, and celebrate together the birth of our Lord Jesus!
Holiday Children and Youth - December 24th/December 31st
Just a friendly reminder that Children's Ministry will only be provided for Nursery and Toddlers on holiday weekends. This includes Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Youth Neighborhood will also be on break. All classes will resume as usual on January 7th, 2024.
Special Needs Class - December 24th/December 31st
We are offering a children's ministry class on holiday weekends for children with diagnosed special needs through 5th grade. This will include Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. You will need to register for the class ahead of time. Email with questions.
Baptism Preparation Workshop - January 7th/January 14th
Individuals desiring to learn more about baptism are invited to join us for the two-part Baptism Preparation Workshop on Sunday January 7th and January 14th at 10:15am in Room 210. Baptisms are planned for both Sunday services on January 21st. Sign-up here.
Parkside Westside Playgroup - January 17th
Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 17th. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Feel free to pack your lunches and stick around after to eat together. Hope to see you there!
