Holiday Children's Ministry  

Just a friendly reminder that limited children's ministry is offered on holiday weekends, including this weekend for Labor Day. Only nursery, toddlers, and special needs childcare will be offered. All other classes, including Sunday night's Youth Neighborhood are on break until Sunday, September 8th.  Please contact Lisa Ours if your child will attend our special needs class so we can plan accordingly with volunteers. 

Join a Community Group   

Joining a Community Group is one of the best ways to be a part of Parkside Church Westside. You don’t have to be a member of the church to take part--all are welcome, no matter what stage of life you are in. In many ways, our groups represent the church on a personal level. This fall our groups are studying Romans, and will begin meeting in September. Matt Papa Concert - September 6th

Our friends at Shoreline Church are hosting Matt Papa in concert on Friday, September 6th, at 7:00pm. Matt is a Christian singer/songwriter and composer. Purchase tickets here. Hope to see some of you there! 

Biblical Theology Workshop For Women - September 7th

Speaker and author, Nancy Guthrie, will be visiting Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls, and offering a one-day Biblical Theology Workshop for Women on September 7th from 9:00am-3:00pm. No matter how much you already know or don’t know about the Bible, if you’re a woman who wants to know your Bible better, this workshop is for you. Details and registration can be found here.

Service Time Changes - September 8th

Beginning on September 8th, we will be bumping our Sunday morning service times back by 30 minutes. The new service times will be 9:30 and 11:00am. This change comes as an effort to better distribute Sunday attendance between our two morning services.

God's Purpose for Your Life Class - September 8th

Join us this fall as we look at some of Jesus’ commands for his followers in order to align our lives with his purposes for us. We’ll carefully consider and discuss Jesus’ words in the Bible and seek the help of the Holy Spirit as we help one another to become more committed followers of Jesus Christ.
Beginning on Sunday, September 8th, and running through early December, the class will meet in room 210 from 10:45am-12:00pm. For more information, contact Jim Erickson. We hope to see you there!

Parkside at Prayer - September 15th 

Join us as we share a meal and pray together on Sunday, September 15th, at 5:00pm in the lower level. Please bring a side or accompaniment for the meal and to Matt if you plan to attend.

Parkside Westside Playgroup - September 18th

Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning on September 18th at 10:30am. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Men's Fella-ship - September 18th

Join the men of Westside for a time of fellowship up at the Lakewood Truck Park on Wednesday, September 18th, at 6:00pm. Whether you are new or have been attending for years, all are welcome. Contact Mike or with questions.

Women's International Lunch - September 20th

Ladies, join us for lunch as we seek to have friendly conversations with women wanting to learn or improve their English.We'll meet on Friday, September 20th, at 12:00pm in the lower level. Contact Ruth if you plan to attend or if you would like to bring a dish to share.

First Steps Bruncheon - September 22nd
