3 Minutes after a Sunday Service
Posted on
It's almost here! The launch of Parkside Church Westside is this Sunday which means that we've come a long way and, at the same time, are just beginning. These past two Sundays have been very useful in helping us figure out how best to utilize the space inside Garfield Middle School. It seems like we've learned the essentials and will figure out the rest as we move along. As we think about this Sunday here are a few practical items for you.
3 Minutes after a Sunday Service*
Let’s plan to use the first three minutes after a Sunday service concludes to be intentional about talking with guests or people that we're less familiar with before catching up with those that we do know. Here's a few easy ways to start a conversation:
1. “Thank you for being here.”
2. “Let me help you with that.”
3. “Please take my seat.”
4. “Here is my email address. Please let me know if I can help in any way.”
5. “Can I show you where you need to go?”
6. “Let me introduce you to ___________.”
7. “Would you join us for lunch?”
3 Ways to Pray for this Sunday
1. That God would help each of us invite those in our social circles to join us for a Sunday service and for wisdom on how to follow-up with them.
2. For Matt to have consistent time to study Mark 1 this week and for God's leading on what to say.
3. That we would be faithful and humble servants who are united together as we serve in the various roles that God has gifted us to do.
