Building Biblical Marriages Course

Whether you’re already married, engaged, dating, or single and wondering whether marriage is a worthwhile goal, join us this fall at Parkside Westside as we examine God’s design for marriage. We’ll look closely together at the Biblical foundations of marriage and examine their implications for our lives and for the church. The course will run from early September to early December and consist of both whole-group meetings and couple-to-couple or couple-to-singles mentoring/discussion sessions. Check out the schedule here, and sign-up via this link if you plan to attend.

Rally CLE

Parkside Westside will be partnering with Building Hope in the City for a community service project on Saturday, September 11th at 8:00am. Volunteers will meet at Church of God and together spend the day cleaning up a Cleveland neighborhood alongside its residents in an effort to revitalize the area and reduce crime. Please complete this brief registration if you plan to attend.

Fall Book Club

Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to grow in your understanding of how to think and live as a Christian? Are you looking for a way to make regular Christian friendshipping part of your week? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then this book club is for you. The group will meet on Wednesday mornings from 7-8am beginning September 15th in the lower level of the church building where Matt McAlvey will lead a discussion of the book Gentle and Lowly. If interested, please sign-up here.

Course of Your Life

Join us this fall for The Course of Your Life: a nine-week intensive course aimed at equipping God's people to be disciple-makers by growing in God’s Word and sharing it with others. The heart of the course involves meeting one-to-one with an assigned partner during the week, and also meeting as a group for 90 minutes on Monday evenings beginning on September 13th. Contact Nate Vogel for more info; sign-up here.

Community Groups

Community Groups are almost underway and we're looking forward to getting back in the Word together! This fall we’ll combine the study of key passages from the Bible with brief articles from the March 2021 issue of the 9 Marks Journal, “How to Build Up Your Church: a Guidebook for Members.” As the title suggests, the focus for the journal and our study is on the privilege and responsibility that each church member has for the building up of the body. Please contact the leaders of the group you plan to attend so that they may plan accordingly. Please click here for more information, including leader contact info and meeting schedule.

Children's Ministry

More volunteers are needed to serve in children's ministry at this time. If you are willing and able to help, please fill out the Volunteer Sign-up Form. If you have any questions about Children's Ministry, please contact Lisa Ours at   .

International Friendships

Looking to get plugged in with a ministry beyond Parkside Westside? IFI has a local chapter dedicated to serving international college students in the Cleveland area. IFI is currently looking for additional volunteers to help them organize events, serve meals, and build relationships with students. If you have any interest in serving with IFI, please contact Jonathan Putnam.
