Baptism Workshop (Part 2 of 2) - August 7th     

If you signed up for today's baptism workshop, please join us upstairs in Room 210 at 10:15am.

Student Step-Up Night - August 7th

Students entering 6th grade are welcome to begin participating in student ministry at Parkside Church Westside beginning on August 7th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Families of middle school students are invited to come along for this event in the lower level. We’ll provide pizza, play games, and share information about Parkside Westside's student ministry. Please RSVP here. High school students will meet as usual from 7-8:30pm and incoming freshman should join them on this day.

Men's Gathering - August 9th

Please join the men of Westside for the next Men's Gathering on Tuesday, August 9th at 6:30pm in the Lower Level. We will look at God's Word together and hear one of the men present his Testimony. There will be time for discussion and fellowship. We will serve hamburgers and ask you to bring a side dish, chips, beverages, etc. to Dave.

Community Works Crew

The Community Works Crew will be partnering with Lakewood Alive to complete a residential yard-work project on Saturday, August 13th from 10am-12pm. Tools will be provided—all you need to bring is some brawn and a willing attitude! Click HERE to sign up by August 8th, and help serve our neighbors. Contact Ruth Yarnevic with questions. 

Please Note! Schedule Change - August 14th   

There will only be one service on Sunday, August 14th at 10:30am. There will be no 9:00am service! We hope you can join us after the 10:30am service for lake baptisms at Huntington Beach. 

Annual Children's Ministry Meeting - August 21st 

If you teach or help in Children's Ministry, please attend this mandatory, annual meeting on Sunday, August 21st at 9:30am in Room 210. If you are unable to meet in person, a zoom meeting will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 6:30pm. Contact  with questions. 

Young Adult Meet-Up - August 21st

Anyone 18-30ish is welcome to come hang out with the young adults on Sunday, August 21st at 11:45am in the Student Space in the Lower Level. We'll have pizza, play some games, and spend some time getting to know each other better. Contact Madison to RSVP.

Something New for Children's Ministry

Beginning Sunday, August 28th, we will offer Nursery and Toddler Children's Ministry for our 9:00am service. In order to make this happen, we will need additional volunteers to serve at the earlier service. If you are interested in serving in Nursery and Toddlers during the 9:00am service, please fill out this brief sign-up. You will receive a follow-up email from our Children's Ministry team. Please note that you will need to agree to a background check prior to serving.
