Westside Youth Neighborhood (grades 6-12) will be meeting this Sunday at 6pm at the Carter's home (311 Rye Gate St., Bay Village, 44140). Invite a friend and see you there!
The Christmas Store Needs Volunteers!
The Christmas Store is a collaboratively produced pop-up shop that provides a fun and dignified shopping experience for Lakewood families in need. You can help us support this community effort in two ways:
Shop for Gifts: Monday, Dec. 3 at 6pm
Meet us at Chick-fil-A in Rocky River (20801 Center Ridge Rd., Rocky River, 44116) for a quick dinner and shopping at Target. Our church leadership team has allocated financial resources to this effort which means you do the shopping and we’ll pay for the gifts!
Staff the Store: Wednesday, Dec. 5, or Saturday, Dec. 15, 10am-2pm
We are in particular need of volunteers for Wednesday's morning shift from 10am-12pm and, Saturday's afternoon shift from 12-2pm. If you are able to help, sign up at parksidechurchwestside.com/christmas-store.

Advent: The Christmas Journey
Parents, we are excited to provide you with a fun and free resource to help you celebrate Advent with your family. Advent: The Christmas Journey is an activity booklet and reading plan that provides a picture for your children to color each day, along with a Bible story for you to read together. Our hope is that by reading stories from the entirety of the Bible together, your family will see that the coming of Jesus was prophesied and anticipated long before His arrival, and that the Christmas story doesn’t begin with Mary and Joseph, but begins in Genesis 3. Pick up your free copies on Sunday at the Welcome Area table or download the PDF here!
Women's Prayer Time: Dec. 12
Join us on the second Wednesday evening of each month at 7pm to pray for Parkside Church Westside as we ask for God's continued guidance to help people become committed followers of Jesus Christ. We'll be meeting at Emma Vogel's home in Lakewood this month (1291 Bonnieview Ave., Lakewood, 44107).
Parkside at Prayer: Dec. 16
Everyone is welcome to join us for this hour of prayer. Together we will continue to ask for God's grace as we aim to help people become committed followers of Jesus Christ. This month we will meet at the McAlvey's home (1296 Hall Ave, Lakewood, 44107). We will pray together and then have dinner for anyone who'd like to stick around for another hour.
