Welcome Jon Cameron 

Jon Cameron joined the Parkside Church team in June 2008. He and his wife, Megan, have three children: Charlotte, Lucy, and Scott. Jon is the lead pastor of Parkside Kent which was planted in September 2024. We are grateful for the gospel partnership we share with the Camerons.

Holiday Children's Ministry and Youth Group - December 29th 

Just a friendly reminder that children's ministry is only offered for nursery, toddlers, and special needs during holiday weekends. This includes Christmas/New Year's on December 29th. Please contact Lisa Ours if your child/children will attend our special needs class. Youth Neighborhood for our middle school and high school students will also be on holiday break during these weekends. All classes will resume on Sunday, January 5th. 

Read The Bible With Us In 2025 

We would like to invite each of you to join us in reading the Bible this year. Below are 3 options for committing to reading the Bible in 2025.

• One book we have available is the Daily Devotional New Testament, a wonderful resource for daily encouragement. Each of the 365 entries includes a few small passages from the New Testament as well as a brief reflection and prayer prompt based on the readings for that day. If you'll be around this Sunday, please stop by and grab a copy from the Welcome Area.
• You can also follow this Five Day Bible Reading Program for 2025. This schedule takes you through the Bible in its entirety in one year. Printed copies are available at the Welcome Area as well.
• Lastly, join the From Beginning to Amen Bible Challenge in January. While it’s not easy, it’s simple: you read (or listen to) the whole Bible in 31 days. The suggested reading plan can be found here. Printed copies are available at the Welcome Area as well. For extra encouragement and to build community, come to Room 110 between the two services. We’ll have poster boards available to share the insights God is giving you and how we can be praying for you through the challenge. This also is an opportunity to connect with others who are going through the challenge. Contact Andrea Anderson with questions.

Parkside Westside Playgroup - January 8th

Join the moms, dads, and caregivers of preschool aged children (ages birth-preschool) for some purposeful play alongside your child and his/her peers. We will meet in the lower level on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 10:30am. We will have stations set up and have some time of song and stories. Westside Students Winter Retreat - January 25th-26th

The overnight Winter Retreat for students in grades 6-12 will be taking place on January 25-26, 2025, at Camp Mission Meadows in Dewittville, NY. Register here! 

First Steps Bruncheon - January 26th

New to Parkside Westside? We'd love to meet you. We'll spend some time together after the first service hanging out, answering your questions, and introducing you to some on our leadership team. Sunday Morning Class: God’s Big Picture - Tracing the Storyline of the Bible - January 26th

The Bible is clearly no ordinary book. How can you begin to read and understand it as a whole? Join us for this Sunday morning class beginning on January 26th at 10:45am in Room 210. 

This overview will:

• Give you the big picture, showing how the different parts of the Bible fit together under the theme of the kingdom of God
• Provide both the encouragement and the tools to help you read the Bible with confidence and understanding, and
• Point you to the Bible's supreme subject, Jesus Christ, and the salvation God offers through him.
