We Have a "Good" Problem
Posted on
Well, we do have a problem, but it's a good one to have! Our Children's Ministry is growing and we need your help!
If you've been looking for a place to serve, we invite you to consider joining one of our Children's Ministry teams. Each Sunday, we have a nursery and classes that serve children – from babies through the fifth grade. Our Children's Ministry seeks to provide a warm, welcoming, and safe place for kids on Sunday morning as we share Jesus' love and teach God's Word.
You don't have to be a teacher by profession, or come up with lessons yourself. You will also work as part of a team, so you never have to serve by yourself. We have classroom materials available and use The Gospel Project curriculum for our lessons. For the safety of our kids, we conduct background checks on all of our Children's Ministry workers.
Because we have learned that it is a great benefit to the children to have consistent and familiar faces teaching them, we ask you to consider a 12-month commitment (which is just 18 Sundays over the course of the year). At the end of 12 months, we'll check in with you to see how things are going. At that time, you can choose to re-up for another year or push pause. And, if you're worried about missing out on the Sunday sermon, you can always catch up by listening to them online here or through our app.
