Wear a Nametag, Say a Prayer
Posted on
Hey, You!
It happens to all of us – you've been saying hello to someone who's name you just can't remember. You've let it go for weeks and now it's just too awkward to ask them their name. Well, you're in luck! On May 6, we're declaring another Name Amnesty Sunday!
What is Name Amnesty Sunday? It's a day when you are free to ask anyone their name without shame or embarrassment. It is also a day where you grant amnesty to those who have forgotten your name.
To help with the effort, we'll have nametags to wear. We know most people don't like wearing them, but we think it will be a fun and helpful way to continue to make connections.
Pray With Us
Join us this Sunday, April 29, at 5pm for Parkside at Prayer. We get together once a month for a time of prayer as we aim to help people become committed followers of Jesus Christ.
We'll be meeting at the McAlvey's home in Lakewood. We'll pray together and then have dinner for anyone who'd like to stick around for another hour. Please send Matt a quick if you are planning to attend.
