Jump in with the Cleaning Crew
In an effort to keep the areas we're using within the building as safe as possible, we are in need of volunteers to help wipe down surfaces after the 9am service. If you would like to help out in this way, please fill out the Volunteer Form and select "Sunday Service Cleaning Team" as your serving area of choice, and we'll follow up with you. Bonus: cleaning volunteers are guaranteed a spot for the 9am service!
Prayer Open House
We’d like to invite you to share in the joy of our new building by participating in a Prayer Open House this week. The Open House will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Noon-1P and 6-7P each day; please join us during the timeslot that works best for you. Be sure to wear your mask, practice social distancing, and please do your best to refrain from touching surfaces throughout the building. Check out our blog for some prayer points for various areas of the building.
Join the Usher or Greeter Team
Our ushers and greeters are the first to welcome you on a Sunday morning. During these days of COVID-19 they are there to help you find a seat and answer your questions. If you would like to help out in this way, please fill out the Volunteer Form and select "Ushers" or "Greeters" as your serving area of choice, and we'll follow up with you. Bonus: ushers and greeters are guaranteed a spot for the Sunday service!
Reading Groups Sponsored by City Church
The Near West campus of City Church is offering a number of different reading cohorts that will give those who participate an opportunity, through reading and discussion, to become better informed about issues regarding social and racial justice. The groups are led by members of City Church, and, although some are already under way, it’s not too late to join.
Family News
We rejoice with Lisa Lenhart and John Ours who were united in marriage on June 18!
Children's Ministry during COVID-19
We are not offering children’s ministry at this time, due to potential risks to children and volunteers, and because of the difficulty in ensuring proper sanitization. We are, however, glad to make our children's curriculum available for home use. Curriculum will be distributed via a shared drive; if you are not a member of the "Children's" group in CCB and would like access to the curriculum, please email and we will add you.
Building Campaign
If you would still like to participate in our Pledge Campaign, we would welcome you to do so. If you have already pledged, you are now able to set up your online gift through the "Give" tab in CCB or designate your checks as "Building Campaign" in the memo line. For more information, please visit our Building Campaign webpage.
